About Blinde...

Blinde is a project that has been said to bring back the classic feel of 90’s alternative rock and grunge, while incorporating nuances reminiscent of modern pop, fusion, and the Progressive Rock era. Formed in late 2023 in Denton, Texas, the band started as the brain child of Gabriel Parkerson (lead guitar, vocals) and Joey Duhon (drum set, percussion), but was soon accompanied by their childhood friends Keegan Bell (bass guitar) and Brendan Hasse (rhythm guitar, vocals), completing and unifying a unique sound achieved from years of companionship and admiration for one another. One of the members is diagnosed with Stargardt’s Disease, rendering him legally blind. Because of this, the band chose to name themselves “Blinde” as a nod to overcoming adversity with authentic creation.
